Diving
The Mexican Caribbean is one of the best diving spots in the world. The Great Maya Reef offers year-round diving as well as a visibility of up to 165 ft and a great diversity in plant and animal species. There are also daytime and nighttime diving tours in the ocean.
Kayak
A guided tour of the coral reefs that run parallel to the Mayan Riviera coast is a unique experience when you board a kayak. This area is also the site of international kayak competitions.
Sailing
Along with kayaking, sailing is the other outstanding nautical sport along the Mayan Riviera. The sun's warmth, the tranquility and transparency of the water and the light breezes all create an atmosphere that invites you insistently to sail this part of the Mexican Caribbean.
Fishing
In the last years, fishing in Mayan Riviera has reached its highest peak. Anglers from all different parts of the world come year after year to practice this amusing sport. There are several types of fishing in Cancún and Playa del Carmen, from fly fishing to deep sea fishing. Types of fishing include different styles for the beginner or the experienced fishermen.
